Beautiful Sonoma County is well known for its laid back vibe, authentic-feeling wine experiences, and adorable wine country towns. In fact, Healdsburg (where our hotel is located) is so cute that it is listed as No. 2 “Best Small Town to Visit in U.S.” by Smithsonian Magazine.
We love getting to truly experience Sonoma County in an intimate and unique way by walking through the stunning vineyards to each of our tasting sessions with Jim, our local wine expert, leading the way. You get so much more out of your trip than you would by car.
Sonoma County is a foodie paradise! We love the abundance of organic fruits and vegetables, tasty fresh-baked delights, handcrafted cheeses, local honey, and gourmet sauces and dressings – all a part of the farm-to-fork movement of California.
The biggest reason people visit Sonoma County is, of course, the wine! Sonoma County has the perfect combination of topography, microclimates, and soil types to create incredible, award-winning wines.
We love Sonoma County wine because there is a little something for everyone. Though known for the big Chardonnay boom in previous decades, Sonoma County is the most diverse premium winegrape growing region in the U.S., growing 66 varieties of winegrapes.
